Get on Zoom early so you will be ready for Gloria at 7 PM. This is a very special opportunity to “meet” Gloria Loughman who lives in Australia. Her specialty is landscape quilting.  Her initiation into the world of patchwork occurred nearly 30 years ago when she was recovering from a course of chemotherapy for breast cancer. After completing some studies in design and colour as part of a Diploma of Art in 1996, she began to make  large vivid landscape quilts depicting the Australian bush. She travels  to many unique and fascinating parts of Australia with her photographer husband and is continually challenged to reproduce the images in fabric.
