Ruth has been a quilter for thirty plus years. “Mostly I made bed and lap quilts. I have always liked stained glass windows. About 8 years ago I told my husband that what I would like for my birthday was to take a stained glass class. Due to cost and availability it didn't work out. So I thought why not combine two of the things I like. I made my first stained glass wall hanging and showed it to my local quilt store owner and she thought if I made up the pattern she could sell it. That is how Green Glass Designs was created and my life was changed. “
